You never sign in and we never ask for your Instagram password. Paste a public link and you are done.
One page for Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows, macOS and Linux. Nothing to install.
Multi-photo and mixed photo/video posts are unpacked into separate files you can save one by one.
Links resolve in a second or two and downloads stream directly through your browser.
We do not keep the media or your links. Resolved posts sit in a short-lived cache and then disappear.
Instagram lets you bookmark a reel, but a bookmark only works inside the app and disappears if the creator deletes the post. The app's own download option is not offered on every reel, and when it is, the video comes with the Instagram logo and the account name stamped on it. This reels downloader gives you the plain MP4 file instead.
The reel is saved exactly as Instagram stores it. A reel uploaded in 1080p downloads in 1080p with its original sound, and nothing is compressed a second time. Once it is in your gallery you can watch it without internet, send it to a friend or keep it as a reference for your own edits.
You get the original file from Instagram, without the logo and username overlay that the in-app download adds.
Reels are saved as MP4 at the resolution they were uploaded in, up to 1080p. The file plays on any phone, TV or editing app.
The audio stays in the video. If you only need the song or voice-over, use the reels audio downloader.
Links with /reel/ or /reels/ and the short share link from the app are all accepted.
The steps are the same everywhere. Only the place where the file ends up changes.
Open this page in Safari, paste the reel link and tap Download MP4. Safari saves the reel to the Files app, in Downloads. Open it there, tap Share and choose Save Video to move it to your camera roll.
Use Chrome or any other browser. After you tap Download MP4 the reel goes to the Downloads folder and shows up in your Gallery or Google Photos within a few seconds.
Copy the reel address from the browser bar, paste it here and click Download MP4. The file lands in your Downloads folder and opens in any video player.
